The end of 2014:
This has been a hectic and emotional year.  I am looking forward to the next year being more stable and happy. I wish all my friends and family a happy and peaceful New Year for 2015.
Meanwhile, i have been making some cards for various occasions.

I made very few Chanukah cards this year.  Here are examples of the few that I made:

Some birthday cards:

Some basic cards:

Some cards using HFC elements:

So that is all for now.  Comments are welcome!

Something a little extra this month.

I had a lot of fun making these cards and just had to post them:

The card above was made with elements from the Heartfelt Creations new collection, All Geared Up.  I love the colors and the assortment of stamps and papers, and the dies that come with the whole set.

The card below was made with some scrap paper, washie tape, an HFC flower, that I colored with Copics, and two HFC elements of leaves/swirls.  Everything just fell into place for this card.

Now, it's time to say, toodle-loo until next time.

Some New Stuff

I have been busy with a few new card ideas.  Here is what I have for now:

Made  this one for a 1 year old's b-day.  embossingm stamping, washie tape...lots of fun topped off with blue bow.

A simple embossed card with liquid pearls on all the dots and a Top Dog Dies Happy Birthday.

I've used this stamp before but this time I did the coloring with more contrast.

This is just a simple design with pretty paper and use of peel offs with Prisma Pencils.

I have always been a bit collage challenged.
These two cards were inspired by some pretty paper and flowers.

I made only one Rosh Hashana card this year and it was for my fellow card craftswoman Barbara Snyderman.  Barbara is a master card maker.

I do love butterflies and creating with dies.  This card didn't scan well.  There is embossed paper, die cut center pieces and pretty metallic paper.  The tones are brown and copper and gold.

Pretty paper, ready made embellishments, a hand made bow and a die cut fence.  This also is so much prettier than this scan.  I'll have to photograph a few of this cards.

More Heartfelt Creations card kits.  I'm getting batter at flower making and coloring.

These two  are more butterfly cards.
I'm a sucker for pretty paper and butterflies.
The top card is a stamp and the right card is a stamp that I cut out.  I like the coloring of both stamps.  There is bling but the scanner doesn't really pick it up.

So, September was a busy month and October is starting out that way too.

Time to post again.  I have been trying to make different types of cards and here's what I have to offer:

Simple stamp using copics.

I subscribe to a magazine from the UK:  Paper Crafting.  Each month with each new edition there is a free clear stamp.  This simple stamp arrived recently and thought it might make a nice card in various colors.  A little washi tape added more of the same colors.

My grandson Max loves monkeys, so I included this card with the last gift package of new school clothes.  He liked the card.  The jar is embossed and the monkeys stamped.  Monkeys in a jar!

Another Heartfelt Creations card hit.  I'm learning!

I showed this card before, but this time I took a photo of it.

I like this card...embossed background, die cut butterflies, washie tape and liquid pearls.

I just love this die and I added a HFC flower with glitter.  I embossed the white card.

This card looks so much better live and not scanned.

For now, that's what I have to offer.
Good bye August and welcome September!

Happy August!
Couldn't resist posting this card:

I used Heartfelt Creations paper, with Spellbinder die for butterfly and can't remember from what die the corner swirl was made.  A little washi tape under the ribbon bow with bling and glitter.  No sentiment yet...

I'm on a roll and practicing as much as my limited time will allow.
A quiet, slightly breezy summer rain seems cool, but damp around my house.  I like it!

July Cards

I have been buying new things from Heartfelt Creations.  I just love their flower dies and stamps.  I bought a couple of complete theme sets and have been learning their techniques.

The following two cards are made from kits that you put together. The kits teach you to make the flowers, design cards and use the die cut items.  These are very helpful.  They aren't my original designs but I was able get the feel of coloring and forming and placing the parts.

Playing with the new dies I've purchased from Top Dog Dies and incorporating some HFC items as well:

Here's a little ditty that is just simply stated. I've used this motif before and still find ways to use it.

I'm not sure how much I like most of these but they are mine and have to accept them good or bad.  I keep trying...
